Starbraze is the game of the first volume of the C64 Game Manual Series. It starts as a status panel and a field of stars, and milestone by milestone gains a ship, shots, a patrol of four enemies, collisions, a score, three lives, waves, a boss and music, until the mission restarts by itself.

Play it in VICE x64sc, in PAL mode, with a joystick in port 2. Press and release Fire to start; after victory or defeat, press and release Fire again to return to the menu.
